Cortijo Mangueta is situated in Vejer de la Frontera, close to Tarifa and Caños de meca, a little village on the coast of light in the south of Andalusia between Barbate and Conil.

• Los Caños de Meca

In Los Caños there is the lighthouse of Trafalgar, scene of the battle in the XV11 century between the English troops and the Franco-Spaniards.
• Conil
  Pretty fishermen’s town that nowadays is living from tourism thanks to their spectacular beaches, good nightlife and excellent fried fish.
• Barbate
  The village of Barbate counts many nice beaches, above all the one named Yerbabuana. It is a n ideal place to taste their fish plates and especially the famous tuna.
• Zahara de los Atunes
  One of the favorite destinations of Andalusia. In Zahara you can enjoy your holidays and relax on the more wide stretched beach of this area and they have good facilities for tourists which makes it a comfortable stay as well.

The weather in Andalusia

Hot summers: You can enjoy the sun almost every day from may till the beginning of October. It almost does not rain. The maximum daily temperatures are around 35 degrees and in the night around 15 degrees. T-shirt weather whole day.

Soft winters: A mix of clear and sunny days in the winter with sometimes cloudy days, but it can be hot. In the evening it cools down. The first rains are in the end of September or the beginning of October. Maximum temperature during the day is 20 degrees and in the night it can drop under 10 degrees. So a warm jacket is needed for the evening.
